What you won't see on the Resume.
Recently I was asked to talk about the story behind my acting career. Not the list of where I've trained, or what I've done, but, the stuff behind it, the stuff that dreams are made of. I can remember the first play I did as an elementary school girl (The Three Little Pigs), but I don't think that's where my acting career was kindled. If I had to pinpoint a moment, it would likely be 1987, the year the Forgie Quintuplets were born. Our family was thrown into the spotlight when my mother gave birth to the second set of quintuplets born in Ontario, Canada. After adjusting to the fact that I was no longer an only child, I realized I had a built in test audience! I would line the quints up in their high chairs and perform for them. I loved watching their little eyes follow me as I darted and danced around the kitchen. As they grew, I forced them to be in the musicals that I would write, direct, and of course star in. If you're still reeling from the fact that my siblings are quintuplets, you can read more about what it's like to be the big sister of quintuplets on my all time favorite blog Hello Giggles.
Now adult-ing in Los Angeles, I've turned my passion for performance into a career. With a flair for drama I'm often equated to the Canadian Keira Knightley. I also enjoy the description given to me on the Urban Dictionary (and hope it is a reflection of the roles I get to play):
